1

Understand Custom Product Pages

Custom Product Pages (CPPs) let you create up to 35 unique versions of your App Store listing. Each CPP can have different screenshots, app previews, and promotional text. They are accessible via unique URLs and are perfect for paid ad campaigns where you want the landing page to match the ad creative.

2

Navigate to Custom Product Pages

In App Store Connect, go to your app > App Store tab > scroll down in the sidebar to Custom Product Pages. Click the + button to create a new page.

3

Configure page content

Give your CPP a descriptive name (e.g., "Fitness Ad Campaign Q1"). Then customize the screenshots, app preview videos, and promotional text for this specific audience. The app icon, name, subtitle, description, and ratings remain the same across all pages.

Tip: Design screenshots that match the messaging of the ad campaign driving traffic to this page for maximum conversion.

4

Submit for review

Each Custom Product Page requires App Review before going live. Submit the page and wait for approval (typically 24–48 hours). Once approved, you receive a unique URL that you can use in your ad campaigns.

5

Use CPP URLs in ad campaigns

Copy the unique CPP URL from App Store Connect and use it as the destination in your Apple Search Ads, Meta Ads, or any other campaign. Users who click the ad will see your customized page instead of the default listing, creating a seamless ad-to-store experience.

6

Monitor performance in App Analytics

App Store Connect provides separate analytics for each Custom Product Page: impressions, downloads, conversion rate, and retention. Compare CPP performance against your default page to identify which messaging resonates with different audiences. Use AppDrift's platform to manage metadata and screenshots across all your CPPs from one dashboard.

Common Errors & Solutions

CPP rejected by App Review for inconsistent content

Solution: Ensure screenshots and promotional text accurately represent your app. Apple rejects CPPs that are misleading or show features not available in the app.

Cannot edit an approved Custom Product Page

Solution: To modify an approved CPP, create a new version of the page. The previous version remains live until the new one is approved.
