Update Frequency
Update frequency refers to how often an app is updated in the app stores. Regular updates signal active development and can positively influence app store rankings.
Update frequency is a secondary ranking factor that signals to both Apple and Google that your app is actively maintained. Apps that haven't been updated in months may be deprioritized in search results.
Beyond rankings, regular updates give you opportunities to refresh your metadata, add new keywords, and leverage release notes for additional keyword coverage. Aim for updates at least every 4-6 weeks.
