Phased Rollout

Phased rollout gradually releases an app update to a percentage of users over time, allowing developers to monitor for issues before the update reaches everyone.

Phased rollout (or staged rollout) lets you release updates incrementally. Apple offers a 7-day phased release for automatic updates, while Google Play allows percentage-based rollouts.

This approach reduces risk by catching critical bugs or performance issues before they affect your entire user base. If problems are detected, you can halt the rollout and fix issues before wider distribution.
