Use all 100 characters in the iOS keyword field

Apple gives you exactly 100 characters for keywords in App Store Connect. Don’t waste a single one. Fill the field completely with relevant, comma-separated terms.

Don’t repeat words that are already in your title

Apple indexes your title and subtitle separately. Repeating those words in your keyword field wastes precious characters. Use unique terms instead.

Use singular forms (Apple handles plurals)

Apple’s search algorithm automatically matches singular and plural forms. Typing ‘game’ covers ‘games’ too, so always use the shorter singular form to save characters.

Separate iOS keywords with commas, no spaces

In the App Store Connect keyword field, use commas without spaces after them (e.g. ‘fitness,workout,tracker’). This maximizes the number of keywords you can fit.
