Universal Links
Universal Links are Apple's implementation of deep linking that seamlessly opens app content when available, or falls back to a web page if the app isn't installed.
Universal Links provide the best user experience for iOS deep linking. When a user taps a universal link, iOS checks if the associated app is installed and opens it directly — no intermediate browser redirect or dialog.
Implementing universal links requires hosting an apple-app-site-association file on your web domain and configuring Associated Domains in your app. They're essential for a polished cross-platform experience.
